Burmese troops shell over onto KA base

Jul 3, 2009 - On July 2, 2009 at 03:30 PM: A column of Burmese troops from infantry battalion no. 295 commanded by Major Aung Zeya with an assistance of a cease-fire armed men known as Karenni Nationalities Liberation Front approached the Karenni Army stronghold Nyamu and launched three 81-MM shells over onto the army base.

Despite the heavy rain and thick mist covered over the camp, the shells missed the target and spilled into Thai soil.
