Mother killed as armies clash

Feb 4, 2009 - A gunfight occurred recently between Burmese troops from Shadaw-based LIB no. 525, column no. 2, commanded by Major Aung Khaing Mya, and a Karenni Army company led by Sergeant Plae Reh, at Daw Klehtay village, west of Shadaw, and a villager, who was caught in the crossfire, was killed. more »
